Recall the catastrophic 2006 monsoon? What if nature unleashed her fury the same way every year? Are we prepared?

Ordinarily, every city has a limited amount of rainwater harvesting pits. These are inadequate to harvest the required amount of water to prevent storms, which goes on to cause roads and houses to flood, thereby creating dependency on the municipal water supply board. On the other hand, a drought in catchments or accidents along the municipal water supply lines causes community agitation and the need to purchase water.

Here at Samskruti’s ‘eco-villages’, appropriately designed multi-level harvesting pits ensure a better harvest, better storage and reuse of water, reducing the community’s dependence on municipal waterlines. This high level of planning also ensures community survival even in drought months of the year.

Haven’t load-shedding schedules always been introduced during exam time? What if there was a move to extend
power cut durations?

More than often we are solely dependent on the municipal power supply grid, which
means there are numerous power cuts, the only respite being individual generators
and invertors. The municipal backup system can only support short-term failures,
anything longer results in a situation of chaos.

Here at Samskruti our reliance on alternate energy sources holds us in good stead. The harvested solar energy is a good backup to guarantee uninterrupted power supply when municipal grids fail and holds us in good stead, making us better equipped in case of a power crisis.

Ever been to a friend’s party only to find that their building does not allow visitor’s vehicles to enter?
This means an additional twenty minutes spent trying
to find parking! What if we told you ‘that was a thing
of the past’?

Yes, it’s true; Samskruti provides shared parking at no additional cost as compared to traditional builders who have not taken this into account.
The additional parking place is a bonus to the ecology as well, allowing us more space for plantation, and in effect the space functions as one
that enhances rainwater harvesting given its structure of porous material.

It’s sweltering outside, it’s touching 40oC! What if we were to see a day when air-conditioning just
wasn’t good enough?

This fear is only made worse by the unpredictable power cuts, constant equipment failure, and poor service. Concrete roofs and high-rises only make the situation
worse. At Samskruti’s ‘eco-villages’ our ‘green homes’ are well-designed, materials
chosen and used to reduce the temperature inside your home by almost 50%.
Well-planned landscapes are a sink for pollution making your living experience healthier and happier.

A family wedding; relatives galore! Putting them
up – every man’s nightmare! What if we said
‘you don’t have to spend on hotel accommodation
anymore’?

Yes, you heard right! Finding accommodation need not be a nightmare for you anymore. At our ‘eco-villages’, even guests have been taken into
consideration when we planned them out! On occasions, guests can stay at our extra guest rooms that are provided within the ‘eco-village’ at
a nominal cost, from parking to stay everything has been pre-planned just to suit your convenience!
